^ it is possible. on the other forum i go on, there is a spam section. and no posts count in there. its not a section where ot threads go, more like spam threads are created by members.

Yeah I know that you can disable post counts. I just wasn't sure if threads would still get a +1 count for being created. But we can also move other threads to a new spam section too.

That was then, this is now. What can WE do to get more members and increase the activity. I believe incorporating something like that could keep or even attract members. With leader boards for different games.

Plus this is an open ideas thread. No point in shooting ideas down until Ken, Huy and I discuss all of them.

Just an idea that adds on to the whole spam/post count stuff:

It's a hit or miss situation but we can also set a certain post count to view the private forums (like 50-100 posts?). This is almost like how we had to post to download back in the day. This would give members the opportunity to join the community and not just leech music, I admit that's how I was back then haha. But if this is too risky such that we lose members than disregard this.

How about an award/medal system? I've seen in other forums admins awarding members medals for their hard work on contests or dedication to the community. Medals for the winner of DJ Battles? Just my two cent.

We used to have a _____ of the year (most active, best dj, etc) at some point in the year. One year I didn't have a chance to make award banner/signatures for the winners. We can probably bring it back and award with VIP access for those who don't have it. Only drawback of this is we need an active community or else the same people keep winning. *shrug

Have music battles/music quizes for prizes? Prizes always attracts people. Could be fake money to buy stuff like VIP access, banners, avatars, etc..

Me again.:) Give your ideas they will be looked at seriously.If it is not negative and will give value of some kind to this community and can be implemented .........it will be.

here are a couple I already like. but not limited to just these.
1- womens section
2-mobile version of the site.(going to take a bit of work but will happen)
3- do something with the vip section


keep your ideas coming in,I want them all even if they were shot down in the past.

I always want a sport section. I know we have a basketball and NFL thread but I feel like its to cluttered since sports new happen daily. Also NFL season is coming back! (Player threads (such as TO cant get a house), fantasy thread..so forth)
